Weld Food Bank provides a food package consisting of both shelf stable food items and healthy perishables to qualified families or individuals in crisis. Typically, perishable food provided through this program includes fruits, vegetables, dairy, bakery goods and protein. Because the items are donated, the food that is available varies from day to day.
Recipients are determined by agency referral or intake evaluations by staff, and during the current financial climate in our country they are eligible to access this program once a week. Under normal circumstances, recipients are eligible to come up to four times in a six month period.
