meals distributed by our nonprofit agency partners last year.
In order to reach all 4,000 square miles of the county we work closely with 72 different nonprofit agencies which include food pantries, homeless shelters, soup kitchens, residential treatment centers, and senior and youth programs. They serve all ages and segments of our community.
Agencies get food either directly from the food bank or we can take the food to them in one of our temperature controlled trucks. The food provided to those living with hunger often means the difference between feeding their families or going hungry, having hope or living in despair. Together these partnerships are fighting to end hunger in their communities across Weld County.
