Weekday Volunteering
The following tasks are available at various times throughout the day:
Evening Volunteering
For individuals who are unable to join us during the weekday, we offer occasional evening volunteer opportunities from 5-7pm on select days. During this time you will help us with the need of the day which may include sorting and bagging produce, building food boxes, or assembling Backpack bags.
Saturday Volunteering
On the fourth Saturday of every month, Weld Food Bank opens for an additional distribution. Volunteers help us pack carts and take the food to client’s cars, and sort and bag produce. There are two three-hour shifts available every Saturday distribution.
Mobile Food Pantry Volunteering
Our Mobile Food Pantry travels to sites around Weld County to distribute healthy, perishable foods such as produce, meat and dairy. Our sites are currently in a drive thru model where clients stay in their vehicles. We need volunteers at these sites to help load food into clients’ cars.
Special Events Volunteering
We hold various special events throughout the year including weekend food drives, a beer event in Windsor called Hops for Hunger, a holiday fundraiser called Beaujolais Nouveau, and more! Follow the link below to see all the opportunities to help out with any upcoming special events.
