The Summer Feeding program is targeted to children in areas that are at risk for hunger over the summer months. The meals are prepared on site in our commercial kitchen and then safely transported to feeding sites around Weld County. All Summer Feeding sites are FREE to kids ages 0 to 18.

The full Summer Feeding calendar will be released in late spring 2026.

Additionally, we partner with local child organizations where a membership to their organization is required to attend. Please contact the respective organization for more information about their programs:

Backpack Program

Children at risk of hunger over the weekend are provided with a bag of nutritious food for Saturday and Sunday. During the school year, Students receive the bags discretely in their backpacks or locker every Friday. We work with over 50 schools across Weld County to distribute bags. Contact your school administrator to see whether they participate in this program and how to sign up your child. During the summer, we provide bags through select Summer Feeding sites and our Emergency Food Program.

School Food Pantry

School Food Pantry - Siblings

We partner with schools throughout Weld County who have high numbers of hungry students and we provide them with food to administer their own pantry. Contact your school administrator to see whether there is a food pantry at your child’s school.
