“Volunteers do not necessarily have the time; they just have the heart.”
Weld Food Bank understands the importance of volunteers. The men and women who give of their time to help in our warehouse, deliver food to seniors, stand out in the rain at a Mobile Food Pantry, and countless other acts of kindness do so because they have a heart for what we do. Our success is dependent upon those individuals. We invite you to consider volunteering at Weld Food Bank.
All individuals looking to regularly volunteer must attend an orientation. These are held at 1108 H Street in Greeley every month on the second Tuesday at 10am and the fourth Tuesday at 3pm. While at this meeting you will learn more about the food bank and different ways to get involved. You will also schedule your first volunteer day during orientation. Start the process now by filling out the form below.
If you are looking for a one-time volunteer opportunity, have questions about orientation, or would like more information, please contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Kristy Aldridge at [email protected] or call (970) 356-2199 x307.
Weld Food Bank gladly welcomes businesses, churches, service clubs and other organizations looking to spend a day volunteering with us. We provide a fun environment with various tasks that promote team building. Tours are offered to give your group a more in-depth look at our organization. Additionally, we offer catering at our facility which showcases the many talents of our kitchen staff.
Due to overwhelming community support you may need to schedule your group volunteer time up to 4-6 weeks in advance. Weekends and evenings are available upon request. Start the process now by filling out the form below.
