Greeley – Food Assistance (Special Hours)

Must be in line by 11:30 in order to receive food assistance at that time.

All certification is currently done via a drive through model in our East parking lot. Please follow signs and orange cones to our certification trailer. Bring a form of ID for each person in the family and proof of Weld County address (i.e. piece of mail). Programs available:

Emergency Food Program

The Emergency Food Program provides assistance to individuals and families who find themselves with a temporary food need. Our nutritionally balanced package is designed to assist families of various sizes. The size of your family will determine the amount of food packages you receive. Available foods in this program will differ from day-to-day. On a typical day, the room will contain fruits, vegetables, dairy, bakery goods and protein. Senior Feeding Program

The Senior Feeding Program serves seniors over 60 years of age. This program, which includes the USDA program Everyday Eats, provides a monthly food package with various nutritional products including milk, fruit, vegetables, juice and cereal, etc. Along with the Everyday Eats food package, recipients will go through our Extra Room to choose from additional perishable product we have. On a typical day, the room will contain fruits, vegetables, dairy, bakery goods and protein. Anyone who is interested in joining the Senior Feeding Program must first meet with a member of our certification staff.  Once approved, individuals will only need to re-certify every year. Notice: Voluntary Recall of Fresh Jalapeño Peppers

Weld Food Bank is notifying our community of a voluntary recall affecting fresh jalapeño peppers (Pepper Chili Jalapeño, Product of Mexico) due to the potential presence of Salmonella.

This product was distributed through Weld Food Bank between July 17 and July 28, 2026. No voluntary recalled product was distributed to our agency partners.

Please note: The Anaheim peppers currently being distributed by Weld Food Bank are not affected by this recall and remain safe to consume. Only the fresh jalapeño peppers distributed during the dates listed above are included in this recall.

If you received fresh jalapeño peppers from Weld Food Bank during the affected dates, please do not consume them and discard the product.
